The day has finally arrived…Ashley is driving! She’s super excited and is doing a great job. She got her permit and grabs the keys and asks to drive all the time! Jeff has her drive to seminary every morning. She tried to drive the Honda, but the manual transmission scares her a little bit. I remember trying to drive a stick-I was terrified! But hey, you have to learn sometime, right?!

12-1-11 NUTCRACKER
Aylexie danced in The Nutcracker this year with Northwest Classical Ballet. Her parts were Mathilde (Claire’s Sister)-she’s wearing a blue dress, snow-wearing a white costume, waltz of the flowers-wearing a peach costume with a green top and dresden-wearing a maroon tutu. She decided this would be her last year. She wants to focus on golf and volleyball in high school. She was very committed and learned a lot. She was dancing Mondays and Wednesdays for 3 hours each day and all day on Saturday with a few rehearsals on Friday evenings. Needless to say, she is enjoying spending a lot more time with our family!
11-4-11 SKYVIEW GIRLS SWIM-DISTRICTS
Ashley made it to districts, swimming the 500 freestyle and the 100 breast stroke. Her finish time in the 500 was 7:40:02. She improved her time over the swim season and was able to take off 30 seconds! Way to go Ashley!!!
Here she is with her coach, Ron Heidenreich.
