Friday morning, we woke up to more snow! Jeff had to work from home. We got out the snow gear and had fun playing and then walking to Fred Meyer. Many memories were made during this storm!

We had a HUGE snow storm hit in Vancouver. It was amazing! This is what happened the first day…School was canceled-Ashley was thrilled because she is a Senior and knew she wouldn’t have to make up the days that she missed :)
When Jeff and I first got engaged, I remember going ring shopping with him. I thought he was going to throw up. He is a saver and the thought of parting with money for jewelry was not in his comfort zone! He did buy me this beautiful ring and I love it. We had talked many times about upgrading the center stone. I went in for an inspection and found a beautiful new diamond. It sparkles! I took this picture when I went to pick it up to text Jeff.
He replied, “WOW, that’s huge! You deserve it!”
Jeff surprised me by building me a beautiful hutch for my 40th birthday present. I LOVE IT!!! He worked so hard on it. It is absolutely beautiful! It took a lot of time, patience and hard work to finish it. The wait was worth it! I have the best husband in the world! I am in awe of his many talents! I will treasure this for many, many years.
We had a new Bishop sustained in Skyview ward. He is humble and said one of the most profound quotes I have heard in a long time. Ashley wrote it on my chalkboard. I believe this. God doesn’t do things randomly. There is purpose in everything. We just have to have the faith to accept what God asks of us.
Ashley & Aylexie LOVE playing YW basketball! Jeff’s passion is basketball. Unfortunately, the girls did not “feel” the love for the game as much as their dad and didn’t continue girls basketball beyond middle school. However, they played enough “Pig” & “Frozen” on our backyard court to be able to handle themselves on the court. The one thing they both have going for them is their height. It intimidates the other girls! Here are a few pictures of their last game…I don’t have ANY idea who took these blurry pictures…
