Every once in a while, Ashley picks up the camera and takes some amazing pictures! She really has a good eye for beauty!  It snowed and she caught the light perfectly on these trees…

2-12-11 DATE NIGHT!

Jeff and I were invited to go on a group date to dinner and the stake Valentine’s dance.  My friend, Emy has a special project she does for her husband every February.  She calls it “love month” and she does something for him each day during the month of February.  I decided to try this out and had a lot of fun doing silly little things like decorating our bathroom mirror with post-it notes, making Jeff’s favorite meal, going on fun dates or just watching a movie together.  It’s a lot of fun!  I look forward to the next February and especially dancing!  That was FUN!!!

2-11-11 CHOCOLATE!!!

 I was asked to make some treats for our stake Valentine’s dance, so I made these hand-dipped strawberries!  YUMMY!  They were absolutely DELICIOUS!!!  I mean, where can you go wrong with strawberries and chocolate?!

2-5-11 THOMAS’ BAPTISM

Thomas is one lucky boy!  He got to get baptized on his birthday!  That doesn’t happen very often!  He was super excited to become a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.  Jeff baptized him at the Hazel Dell building in Vancouver WA and we were lucky to have many friends and family in attendance!  Afterwards, we celebrated with a pizza dinner at Round Table with Costco cake for dessert!

1-23-11 AYLEXIE’S 13TH BIRTHDAY

 Aylexie’s birthday was on a Sunday this year.  She chose her meal and for dessert, she wanted german chocolate cake.  Our friends came over to help us celebrate!  We love Carol, the Adam’s and the Ho’s!  Happy Birthday, Aylexie!

1-22-11 PLAYING IN THE SNOW

 Jeff is serving over the Teacher’s quorum in our ward.  All of the young men were going on a campout in the snow, but Jeff couldn’t make it because of work, so we decided to tag along with him the next day to play in the snow!  We had a ton of fun and it was absolutely beautiful!

1-21-11 AYLEXIE’S BIRTHDAY PARTY!

Aylexie wanted to have a fun night out for her birthday and go out to dinner with her best friend, Alexandra.  I took them to Beaches for calamari, pizza and ice cream!  What fun!  After dinner, we did a little shopping, went home to watch movies and play Dance Dance Revolution!
