Thomas joined the track team at Chinook Elementary this year. His favorite event was the long jump. He is really good at it! He practiced with his dad and faithfully went to track each day after school. I’m proud of him for being committed!

5-28-13 GOLF BANQUET
To celebrate the end of girls golf, the team celebrated at Steak Burger and played putt-putt golf. Both girls lettered in golf! Both made it on the varsity team. They got to play together a lot and lift each other up. I am grateful for the time they get to spend together. I’m sure many of their favorite memories come from getting up early to play a round of golf. They will be able to play this game throughout their lives. One day, they will be SO happy their dad instilled this passion for golf to them.
5-25-13 SALMON CREEK TRAIL
I have learned to love running. I am addicted to it. I NEED it! It makes me happy and keeps me healthy. Emy and I got up early on Saturday to run this beautiful trail near our home. It is stunningly beautiful. I love to watch the creek and see nature at its best while running. It’s quiet. To me, it’s my favorite place to be. I am reminded of all my blessings in my life while I put one foot in front of the other. I am grateful for Emy and her enthusiasm for running! We talk the whole time and I love it! 5-21-13 ASHLEY MADE IT TO STATE-JR YEAR!!!
Ashley made it to State after competing in bi-districts! She was SO excited!!! I was happy it was here in Vancouver :) It rained, it poured and it was extremely cold! She pared 10 holes! I am so proud of her. She worked hard and played great.
5-16-13 JEFF’S BIRTHDAY
Jeff is my best friend & the love of my life! I am so happy to have him for my eternal companion! Here are a few things I love about Jeff…He’s tall-there isn’t anything in my kitchen or pantry he can’t reach for me :). He’s kind. He’s THE BEST father in the world. He’s a hard worker. He can fix just about anything. He loves to cook. He is a kid at heart. He’s handsome! He loves to sing and can whistle better than anyone I know. He loves me! He is driven. He loves the Lord. He is honorable. I could go on and on and on…Happy Birthday, Jeff!

5-10-13 CAROL
My friend, Carol fell while walking her son’s dog and hit her head. I was able to follow the ambulance to the hospital. I’m grateful to have been able to be there with her when she needed me. Carol does SO much for me in preschool, tutoring Thomas, and just being a wonderful friend. Emy and I took turns keeping each other updated with her children’s help. Here is a picture of us when we went to visit her after she had been released from ICU and had surgery on her broken wrist.
Even after such a traumatic accident, she was still smiling!
5-6-13 & 5-7-13 DISTRICTS-GOLF
Ashley & Aylexie made it to Districts for Girls Golf. They both played 2 rounds at Lewis River and did great! Ashley was moved on to Bi-Districts. I’m so happy they got to play together. They love the game and are VERY competitive, but also know how to have fun while playing. Here are a few pictures of their big day…
