10-1-11 NORTH COUNTY WINE RUN
My friends convinced me to run a 10K this year! Ellen and I trained for about 1 month before the race…they trained all summer! We laced our running shoes early each morning and did it! My goal was to be able to run the entire race, but there was a HUGE and I do mean HUGE hill on the 7th mile. I almost made it to the top, but had to stop and catch my breath for about 10 seconds, then we kept on going! I didn’t think I would ever be able to run a race like this, but let me tell you, I couldn’t have done it without my running buddy, Ellen! We kept each other motivated and put one foot in front of the other and finished 1:10:41! I was so proud of myself! It’s a lot harder to run outside than on an elliptical!

9-7-11 FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL!

9-10-11 TREVOR’S BIRTHDAY PARTY AND STREATCH PANTS POSE…
We went out for lunch to celebrate Trevor’s birthday. Jeff got dared to lick the dessert plate clean…he did it. He was also dared to do the “stretchy pants” pose from “Nacho Libre” and of course he did it! Enjoy!!!
Jeff is a 6’ 8” 40 year old man with a heart of a child! He LOVES to have FUN!
9-10-11 THOMAS’ FIRST SOCCER GAME OF 2011
Thomas played with Coach Andy and The Screaming Eagles again this year. He was a great defender and I was amazed at the amount of growth he has had this past year! He plays really well!
As you can see by his hair, it was a hot day!
8-26-11 COUSINS!!!
Jenny and her kids came for a visit! The kids played in the pool and Jenny and I worked on quilting! I love Jenny-she is always so positive and kind to everyone. My kids had TONS of fun playing with their cousins! As you can see in these pictures, it doesn’t take a whole lot to entertain these guys, just water :)
8-19-11 JEFF’S GOLF TRIP AND A VISIT TO ROBYN’S HOUSE
Jeff is passionate about golf, and fortunately he has 2 other friends who love the game as much as he. In 2010, they decided to take a trip to Bend, OR and had such a great time, they decided to do it again in 2011! Unfortunately, there was a terrible incident with ants. Trevor woke up feeling itchy all over and discovered he had been sleeping near an ant infestation. They had rented a condo and poor Trevor just had back luck. Next year is going to be MUCH better!

While Jeff was in Bend, I decided to take the kids to visit Robyn! They golfed, swam, shopped, watched movies, rode bikes, and just hung out with their cousins!
