Okay...I have NOT dropped off the face of the earth, it's much worse than that...I decided to go back to school. With the economy the way it is, I decided I had better pull up my bootstraps and get educated! Plus, I wanted to set a good example for my kids. I am in my finals week of my first quarter. I'm not going back to continue, I'm beginning. Yes, that would mean English 101, Math 90 and online PE. (Online PE? Yes, it does exist!) I'm a little tired, worn out, and feel a huge sense of accomplishment, all at the same time. If I do well on my finals in English and Math, I'll be able to keep my current grade status of 3 "A's". I didn't know I had it in me, but I hope this explains my absence of blogging!
My kids are doing GREAT! Ashley just finished track, turns 13 next week and looks forward to 8th grade. Aylexie had a lead part in the spring show for ballet. She danced a pas de deux. She LOVES ballet. I'll make sure and post a couple of pictures. She'll be in 6th grade next year, UGH! Thomas is growing up! He's finishing with kindergarten this next week and looks forward to 1st grade. He'll be playing soccer in the fall. He really wants to play t-ball next year, too.
Jeff's only got 1 more semester until he finishes with his MBA. I'm SO proud of him! I hope to finish with all my prerequisites and enter into the Nursing program in 2 years...if I can make it through my science classes!
I promise to try harder to post more!

THOMAS' LEPRECHAUN TRAP
I don't know who had more fun making it, Jeff or Thomas! They probably spend 3 hours deciding the many different elements. Did you notice the flat screen tv with Golf? Or the acquarium or the soft chairs and bed to take a rest on?
When he went out to recess, all the kids got their traps (or hotel) ready to catch that sneaky guy...when they came back, the chairs were all turned over and a couple of tables were also turned upside down. No one caught him, but Thomas had a couple of footprints on his hotel and he left him 2 pieces of leprechaun gold!
I've never seen him come home so happy!
EGG SHELLS IN THE GARDEN...
Last week, I made German Pancakes for breakfast and Thomas wanted to put the egg shells in the garden. I thought he looked cute in Jeff's basketball shoes! (He didn't have a pair of his shoes by the back door so he put on Jeff's!) One day-sooner than I would probably like-I know he'll fill Jeff's shoes!...my heart took a picture at this moment...
THOMAS' 6TH BIRTHDAY!!!
Thomas had such a fun birthday! He had blueberry pancakes for dinner and carrot cake for dessert-I couldn't complain! The next day, he had a friend birthday party with a car theme...we make a car craft, played mario kart and Jeff came up with other fun games to keep them all busy!
I can't believe my little boy is 6! Where has the time gone?!
ZULLA
Here are some pictures of Zulla, our whippet. She's very shy and still doesn't come to us when we call her name, but she is a very good dog, doesn't bite, bark much or have any more accidents in the house. She love Thomas' webkinz-which sometimes is quite a big problem! He gave her his fish and she loves us to throw it so she can catch it. She still shakes like a leaf when I take her out to the bus stop with Thomas...hopefully she'll get over it soon!!!

ASHLEY'S 1ST SWIM MEET!!!
I couldn't make to the whole meet, but I'm glad I made it in time for this event! She did AWESOME! She's the 2nd swimmer in the relay in the lane closest to the camera. Way to go, Ashley!!!
