Jenny and her kids came for a visit! The kids played in the pool and Jenny and I worked on quilting! I love Jenny-she is always so positive and kind to everyone. My kids had TONS of fun playing with their cousins! As you can see in these pictures, it doesn’t take a whole lot to entertain these guys, just water :)
Jeff is passionate about golf, and fortunately he has 2 other friends who love the game as much as he. In 2010, they decided to take a trip to Bend, OR and had such a great time, they decided to do it again in 2011! Unfortunately, there was a terrible incident with ants. Trevor woke up feeling itchy all over and discovered he had been sleeping near an ant infestation. They had rented a condo and poor Trevor just had back luck. Next year is going to be MUCH better!

While Jeff was in Bend, I decided to take the kids to visit Robyn! They golfed, swam, shopped, watched movies, rode bikes, and just hung out with their cousins!
Ashley LOVES to doodle. Her writing is beautiful! She loved this quote by Dieter F. Uchtdorf, member of the first presidency of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. He wrote a book titled, “Your Happily Ever After”. It is beautiful. Ashley spent time and painted it on her bedroom wall to remind her of the importance of womanhood. Ashley went to EFY (Especially For Youth) at BYU Provo this year. She came home spiritually fed, excited about life and just plain happy! She LOVED the devotionals, dances and classes, but HATED the food! All she ate was salad! Also, a gross thing she mentioned was the showers…they had carpeted floors-YUCK! That’s some serious mold issues-definitely time for a re-model, BYU! Nonetheless, she can’t wait for next year! Here are some photos she snapped while on her adventure…
On our last day in Utah, Kate and I took our girls to the salon for a pedicure! Then we met up with the boys at Temple Square and had lunch before we jumped in the car for a LONG drive home!

We ate lunch at The Garden restaurant on top of the Joseph Smith Memorial Building. They have a retractable roof and we were lucky enough to be seated right beneath it! The kids that that was pretty cool!
