12-15-12 ELDER KEVIN BIRCH
My nephew, Kevin is going on a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints on January 2nd! He will be serving for two years in Las Vegas. We are so happy for Kevin and know he will bless the lives of many!
He went to the temple to receive his endowment on Dec. 15th in the Seattle LDS Temple. He was so happy!

12-13-12 WATER GLOBES FOR MY PRESCHOOLERS
Carol & I made these adorable water globes for our preschoolers! We really enjoyed making them. I hope they enjoy them for many years to come!
12-1-12 OH CHRISTMAS TREE…
This year, we decided to buy a real Christmas tree. We went tromping around the farm and found the perfect tree! Luckily, it wasn’t raining! :)

11-23-12 CONNIE’S 39TH BIRTHDAY
My birthday fell on black Friday this year. It was THE BEST!!! Jeff and I woke up early and did a little shopping at Fred Meyer, came home and had Swedish Pancakes, got ready for the day and went to the mall. With the magic of cell phones, everyone divided and got their Christmas shopping done. Luckily, we had packed a lunch and enjoyed turkey sandwiches and pumpkin pie on the way home! We came home and ate dinner and I opened my presents.
Jeff got me some new boots!

After opening presents, we went to Chipoltle for dinner, then we went to “The Forgotten Carols” I took this picture in the lobby with my cell phone. Jeff & Thomas were parking the car. The play was wonderful. I cried…
After the play, we came home and had pie! Aylexie bought me that beautiful scarf :)
Not quite sure what’s happening in this picture, but I HAD to post it…must be some pretty good partying going on!!!
11-22-12 THANKSGIVING
We LOVE Thanksgiving! The smells just bring back a wave of memories with family…We cooked pies on Wednesday and the aroma was fabulous!!!
Our feast!!! The darn turkey didn’t cook as quickly as expected-it took an extra 2 hours and the rolls were HUGE! When we announced that the turkey was done, everyone jumped up and down for joy! We were starved!!! But the wait was worth it!!!
